When three storms go to war.
Dudley, Eunice & Franklin are the names of three storms that “terrorised” the UK in the space of four days.
I think I noticed a whole fifteen minutes or so where the BBC wasn’t telling us how many people were in the hospital with COVID.
I often wonder where they get these names from. I know a real-life Eunice whose life was awful for almost seven hours last week. Until all the Franklin’s in the UK started to get all the attention.
Anyway, even though all the schools closed, roads closed, trains closed and people were told to “stay at home” (sound familiar?), turns out that not a lot was different.
Who knew that the UK got rain and wind and the winter? What a total surprise.
